Support
Get back to the presentation.
Fast checks for microphone, language recognition, slide rendering, billing, and account issues—plus a direct route to support.
Contact support
Email support@followmylead.io from the address on your account. Include the device and browser, what you expected, what happened, and the approximate time of the problem.
Email supportNever send passwords, API keys, full payment-card details, or sensitive presentation files in an initial support message. If a file is needed to reproduce a problem, support will arrange a safer handoff.
Microphone or speech recognition
- Use the secure https://fenot.io site and allow microphone access when the browser asks.
- Confirm the app says listening, the correct microphone is selected in system settings, and no other application has exclusive control of it.
- For automatic language changes within a presentation, choose Detect automatically and confirm the engine reports “Cloud speech · Automatic per phrase.” The browser fallback supports only a fixed recognition locale.
- Brave shields, privacy extensions, VPNs, corporate filters, or aggressive tab suspension can interrupt realtime WebSocket audio. Test once in an updated Chrome or Edge window to isolate the cause.
- Use the listening switch to stop audio processing. Manual voice commands and context-aware navigation are separate modes.
For command examples and a rehearsal checklist, read the presentation voice control guide.
Slides, notes, and original styling
- For the closest PowerPoint fidelity, open the `.pptx` together with a PDF exported from PowerPoint. The app uses the PPTX for slide text and speaker notes and the PDF for visuals.
- A PPTX without a PDF is converted with LibreOffice. Fonts, animations, transitions, embedded video, and some effects can differ or be flattened.
- If a slide has no matchable content, add speaker notes or a distinctive title, then import the deck again.
- PDF and image presentations retain their page appearance but may contain less structured text for matching.
- Keep the manual slide rail and keyboard controls available during important presentations.
Follow the PowerPoint import guide for paired PPTX and PDF setup, or see the diagram-only slide preparation example for a speaker-note cue you can adapt.
Billing and account help
Open Account → Manage billing to update payment information, view available billing documents, change an available billing interval, or cancel Pro through Stripe’s portal.
- Checkout completed but Pro is missing: refresh Account after a short wait. Access changes only after Stripe’s signed subscription update reaches us. If it remains pending, send the account email and receipt or invoice ID—never a card number or security code.
- Failed payment: update the payment method in Manage billing. Paid features can remain unavailable while Stripe reports the subscription as incomplete, past due, or unpaid.
- Cancellation: a cancellation scheduled for period end keeps access until that date and does not automatically refund prior charges.
- Account deletion: cancel Pro and wait until Account shows the subscription is fully canceled. Then use Account → Danger zone → Delete account.
Browser, desktop, and mobile compatibility
Desktop Chrome and Edge are the preferred browser surfaces for presenting. Brave can work, but shields or privacy settings may block microphone or challenge services. Mobile layouts support deck and controller workflows, while browser background suspension makes a separate audience window less reliable.
Allow pop-ups before opening the separate audience view. Press Escape to exit presentation mode. The desktop build remains a pilot surface until hosted sign-in, platform signing, updates, and cross-platform microphone behavior are fully validated.
Use the automatic slide advancement guide to rehearse your audience view, topic changes, and manual fallback before presenting.
